Bayern Munich will reportedly compete with Arsenal and Manchester United to sign 21-year-old Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko from fellow Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Benjamin Sesko is the subject of interest from Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga giants are in a spot of bother over Harry Kane’s long-term future and have identified the RB Leipzig striker as a viable option to replace the Englishman. However, the Bavarian heavyweights face stiff competition from Arsenal and Manchester United for the Slovenian international.
The soaring stock of Benjamin Sesko
Benjamin Sesko has established himself as one of the best strikers in the Bundesliga since joining RB Leipzig from sister club Red Bull Salzburg in July 2023. While the youngster had to bide his time before becoming a regular for Die Roten Bullen, he has not looked back since landing on his feet at the Red Bull Arena.
The 21-year-old has been excellent in the 2024/25 season, contributing to 23 goals in 36 outings across all competitions by finding the back of the net 17 times and providing six assists. Meanwhile, Sesko’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe.
