According to a report from Fichajes, Matheus Cunha’s impressive performances for Wolves have put him on the radar of Manchester United, who are looking to reinforce their attack this summer. The Red Devils would be willing to pay €80 million to bring the Brazilian international to Old Trafford.
While things didn’t work out for Cunha at Atletico Madrid, he has certainly revived his career since joining Wolves. He joined the English club on an initial loan deal at the start of 2023 before the move was made permanent in the summer.
The 25-year-old has established himself as a key figure in the team, and he has been a consistent performer for them. He has featured in a total of 85 matches for them and has contributed towards 44 goals.
While he prefers playing as a number nine, Cunha can pretty much feature anywhere in attack. His versatility, combined with his effectiveness in the final third, makes him a highly sought-after player in modern football.
