According to a report by Give Me Sport, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Real Madrid are keen on signing Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, who is valued at £50 million. The report states that Everton are now prepared to thwart suitors of the player, issuing a hands-off warning to interested clubs.

Meanwhile, a report by the i Paper has claimed that the Toffees are ready to offer him a new deal. It remains to be seen whether the 23-year-old central defender is ready to sign a new contract with everton.

If they manage to convince him to commit his long-term future to the club, it would be a major boost for them. He is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the league, and he could help Everton build a formidable squad for the future.

Branthwaite would improve all four clubs

Meanwhile, the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Real Madrid need to improve their defensive unit, and Branthwaite would be an exceptional acquisition for them.

Real Madrid have looked vulnerable defensively in recent months, and they need to improve in that area of the pitch. Signing one of the best young defenders in the world would be ideal.

As far as Tottenham are concerned, Cristian Romero has been linked with a potential move to La Liga and they will need to replace the South American adequately. Signing a proven performer in the Premier League would be ideal.

The talented young defender is likely to be open to joining a big club in the summer, and he will want to test himself at a high level. If the aforementioned clubs come forward with an official proposal to sign him, it would not be a surprise if the defender has his head turned. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.
