Real Betis want another loan deal for Antony amid Bayern Munich links

La Liga club Real Betis will reportedly look to seal another loan deal for 25-year-old Manchester United attacker Antony in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Antony is the subject of interest from La Liga club Real Betis ahead of the summer transfer window. The Manchester United loanee is also a target for Bayern Munich. However, Los Verdiblancos will aim to beat the Bundesliga outfit to his signature, looking to sign the 25-year-old on loan for the second successive window.

Antony and his renaissance at Real Betis

Antony has resurrected his stuttering fortunes since joining Real Betis from Manchester United in the winter transfer window on a loan deal until the end of the 2024/25 season. The South American attacker had endured a horrendous spell with the Red Devils after arriving from Ajax in August 2022, only showing flashes of brilliance.

However, the 25-year-old has not looked back since joining Real Betis a few weeks ago, having hit the ground running at the Andalusian club. The former Ajax winger has amassed four goals and four assists in 11 appearances across all competitions thus far for Los Verdiblancos, earning several points thus far.

With the Brazilian international stamping his authority at Real Betis, it is hardly surprising that he has emerged as a target for many well-known clubs heading into the summer transfer window.  Meanwhile, Manchester United will be eager to cash in on him. Bayern Munich and Real Betis will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature heading into the summer transfer window.

What next?

Bayern Munich’s interest in Antony is understandable. The Bundesliga giants are scouring the market for a wide attacker heading into the summer transfer window amid uncertainties surrounding the long-term futures of Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, and Serge Gnabry. So, the Manchester United loanee has emerged as a viable target for Bayern Munich.

However, Real Betis will aim to beat the competition to the South American attacker’s signature, with Los Verdiblancos eager to tie him to another loan deal in the summer transfer window. Considering the player’s success at the Benito Villamarin Stadium, he is a viable target for Real Betis.

With Real Betis pushing for another loan move for the 25-year-old Brazilian international, it will not be surprising to see them landing him. However, it will be interesitng to see if Bayern Munich can beat the Andalusian outfit to Antony’s signature.
