Aston Villa are interested in Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, with Arsenal and Tottenham also in the mix for the Italian.
According to Forenze Viola, Aston Villa are the latest to join the race for Moise Kean, with Arsenal and Tottenham also thought to be in the mix. The Fiorentina star has been on song this season in Serie A, as a race for the Italian could heat up in the summer window.
A lot of Premier League sides are interested in signing strikers in the summer window, as some of those are increasingly looking at Serie A for solutions. There are some high-performing stars in Italy who are attracting big interest from English clubs, such as Mateo Retegui, Dusan Vlahovic, and Moise Kean, who are all mentioned as potential targets.
The trio are on the radars of Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta keen to add to his frontline at all costs in the summer after missing out on signing a new striker in January. They were linked with Kean after a phenomenal season from the Fiorentina star in Serie A, although there are doubts about whether he is their primary choice.
Tottenham have had internal discussions about Kean about a summer move, as Agne Postecoglou wants to add a new striker. The North Londoners could part ways with Richarlison after another dismal season at Spurs, as Kean might be the man to replace him.
Fiorentina are not overly eager to sell unless interested teams can cough up the €52 million release clause in his contract. It’s still a steep price by regular standards, although that might not be a big issue for Premier League sides, as Aston Villa are the latest to enter the race for the forward.
Aston Villa looking at Moise Kean
Aston Villa made a big sale of Jhon Duran to Al-Nassr in a deal worth a reported €77 million, which puts them in the market for a replacement in the summer. They have had links to Nicolas Jackson as a potential option, while they are now considering Moise Kean as an idea to strengthen their frontline.
There are younger names like Samu Aghehowa from FC Porto, although Unai Emery might view the idea of Kean as more viable, given his cost and experience in the game. The €52 million-rated striker is still very much on the younger side in the age curve, as Aston Villa could potentially explore a move for the forward in the summer.
