Arsenal, Manchester United keeping tabs on Youssef En-Nesyri

Arsenal and Manchester United are monitoring Fenerbahce forward Youssef En-Nesyri ahead of a potential move next summer.

Youssef En-Nesyri parted ways with Sevilla last summer. While he was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League throughout his time in Spain, the Moroccan international ended up moving to Turkiye. He is enjoying life at his new club, and his performances have once put him on the radar of clubs in England.

According to Sabah via Sport Witness, Arsenal and Manchester United are keeping a close eye on the former Sevilla star, who has been on fire since joining Fenerbahce last summer.

The Spanish outfit did not really want to part ways with the 27-year-old, but they were in need to raise funds, and they ended up selling him for a fee of just under €20 million. The English clubs certainly missed out on a special payer as he has racked up 23 goals and also bagged four assists in his 35 outings in the ongoing season.

Manchester United and Arsenal are keen on En-Nesyri

Youssef En-Nesyri’ss incredible performances have caught the attention of Manchester United and Arsenal, who are both looking to reinforce their attack ahead of next season. Both clubs are closely following him and could look to make a move for him after the end of the season.

The Moroccan international has bagged 12 goals in his last eight Super Lig appearances. While he might not be a marquee signing for the Red Devils or the Gunners, he can certainly add more quality and depth to their attack. Manchester United are all set to undergo major changes next summer.

Quite a few of their stars are expected to be on the move. There could be a major overhaul in the final third, with Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho likely to leave the club permanently. While Ruben Amorim will push for a world-class forward amid the links with Viktor Gyokeres, they will also look to bring in cost-effective players, and Youssef En-Nesyri could be an ideal fit for them.

Meanwhile, Arsenal do not have enough firepower in their attack. Gabriel Jesus seems to have lost the trust of Mikel Arteta while Kai Havertz is not really a number nine but has been forced to play that role. Even the Gunners will go after a star signing, and En-Nesyri could be an exceptional addition to their ranks because of his capabilities in front of goal and his versatility.
