Juventus line up €60 million move for Darwin Nunez

Juventus are eager to test Liverpool’s stance on Darwin Nunez with an offer, with the Italians open to paying €60 million for the inconsistent star.

According to Fichajes, Juventus are interested in making an offer for Darwin Nunez and ready to pay €60 million for the inconsistent star. Liverpool are still unclear on their stance over the Uruguayan striker, although reports state that they could revamp their attacking setup.

Liverpool are set to make some changes to their squad in the close season, with some of them enforced upon them. There’s a strong likelihood of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah leaving on a free transfer. At the same time, Arne Slot is not very much convinced about Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota.

There have been talk of a sale of Jota, although Liverpool are reportedly leaning more towards selling Nunez over the Portuguese striker. However, there have been some rumoured interest from Saudi Arabia, with some quarters suggesting the Reds are looking to keep the Uruguayan.

In any case, their stance on Nunez remains unclear, as they clearly did not want to sell him in January when AC Milan were interested. Now, Juventus are showing an interest in the forward, as they view him as a potential replacement for Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic.

Juventus are reportedly willing to offer €60 million to rest Liverpool’s resolve on Nunez, as they could potentially offer an important place for the inconsistent star. Any deal will depend on what the Uruguayan wants out of his future as well as on Liverpool’s decision on the striker’s future.

Juventus seeking a new striker to replace Dusan Vlahovic

The arrival of Randal Kolo Muani has made life difficult for Vlahovic at Juventus as he has been since relegated to a secondary role in the first team. Arsenal are reportedly keen on the Serbian ahead of the summer, and should a large enough offer arrive on Juventus’ table, they might let him leave, as there’s a big chance the Bianconeri might sign Kolo Muani permanently.

They will certainly want a quality replacement for Vlahovic in the scenario of his departure, as Nunez is someone they think would fit the bill. A transfer is still a long way from fruition, although much will depend on how the inconsistent Uruguayan star finishes the season with Liverpool.
