Arsenal in talks to sign Antonio Cordero

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal hold talks to sign Real Madrid, Barcelona and Newcastle United target Antonio Cordero.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, Arsenal are keen on acquiring the services of Antonio Cordero and they have held talks to sign the Malaga sensation on a pre-contract agreement. Newcastle have also been making moves while Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in him.

Cordero has certainly made quite a name for himself as some of the biggest clubs seem to be ready to battle it out for his signature. The teenager is regarded as one of the best young talents in Spain and he could have a very bright future. As a result, top clubs are already looking to prise him away.

He has come up the ranks at Malaga and got promoted to their first team ahead of the ongoing campaign. He has established himself as a key figure in the team in no time. In his 24 appearances in the Spanish second division this season, the 18-year-old has four goals and six assists.

With the Spanish youth international’s contract running out at the end of the season, multiple top clubs are looking to secure his services on a pre-contract agreement. His impressive performances have put him on the radar of giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
