Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United advance move for Hugo Larsson amid Real Madrid threat

At least three big Premier League sides are holding talks with Hugo Larsson’s representatives, as Real Madrid are looming in the background.

According to Caught Offside, Hugo Larsson could have plenty of offers on the table in the summer as he might have a big chance to leave Eintracht Frankfurt. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are keen to advance towards a deal after holding talks with the midfielder’s representatives, as Real Madrid have also seen links.

Hugo Larsson has made a massive impact at Eintracht Frankfurt and has a host of clubs chasing for his signature. His suitors include a host of Premier League sides like Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Real Madrid are also lurking in the background in an attempt to keep tabs on the midfielder’s situation. Eintracht Frankfurt were keen to keep him beyond next summer, although they might be tempted to cash in should they get offers worth €60 million for the talented midfielder.

At that price, some of the top teams will be willing to make the move, as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have spoken to his representatives about a move. Real Madrid are also looking for a young midfielder and could seek a move for the €60 million-rated Bundesliga midfielder.

Premier League trio looking to advance in Hugo Larsson chase

Manchester United are in the market to build their squad under Ruben Amorim and could see Larsson as the perfect replacement for some of their ageing midfielders like Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. Whether they are in a position to invest a huge sum in such a young midfielder remains the question, although they will face competition from Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Premier League trio have held talks with the players’ representatives as they fear Real Madrid’s interest in the players. Meanwhile, Arsenal are also linked with Larsson, as the Gunners are likely to lose Jorginho or Thomas Partey at the end of their contracts next summer.

Liverpool are also in the market for a new midfielder, and could consider the idea of signing Larsson to their squad. They also have the financial backing to make promising signings, which certainly includes a midfielder, as the race for the €60 million-rated Bundesliga midfielder heats up.
