Arsenal offered the chance to sign Moise Kean

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Fiorentina’s goal machine Moise Kean, although a move looks unlikely.

According to TBR, Mosie Kean becomes the latest player to be linked with a move to Arsenal, with the report stating the Fiorentina man has been offered to the Gunners. Mikel Arteta continues to search for the right attacking addition to his side before the end of the transfer window, as they are short in the attacking department.

The injuries to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus have hurt Arsenal in the attacking depth department. Mikel Arteta has been forced to overuse his key players in the final third, as the thick run of games does call for reinforcements. The Gunners boss has suggested he does not intend to add anyone for the sake of it and will only sign players that improve the team.

There’s no shortage of links to top attackers in the current window, as there have been numerous names mentioned during the month. Arsenal have already ruled out a move for Dusan Vlahovic, with siuggestions they could sign Benjamin Sesko in the summer. The same goes for Alexander Isak, who is considered their top target and could be a thinking for the summer.

Arsenal are also unlikely to sign Evan Ferguson or Marcus Rashford for the fact that they cannot sign another Premier League player on loan. Now, another striker is being linked, with the report stating that Moise Kean has been offered to Arsenal ahead of the next few days.

Kean has had a fabulous season for Fiorentina since his summer move from Juventus. The Italian international has stuck 16 times across all competitions and is one of the in-form strikers in Serie A this season. In theory, he could be a good addition, but Fiorentina are unlikely to sell him at this juncture of the season unless the Gunners are willing to pay over the odds.

Arsenal’s view on a new striker

The links to Kean showcase the media rumors increasingly linking new names every day, and this trend could continue well into the next few days before the transfer deadline. Meanwhile, there are widespread suggestions that Arsenal are unlikely to spend big in this window and could be looking for an overseas loan to solve their attacking depth issues.

Hence, the chance of them spending big on players like the 16-goal attacker Kean or someone else are remote. Instead, they could focus their spending on their main targets like Isak or Sesko next summer, as Arteta is not keen to make rash decisions because of a temporary problem.
