Manchester United intensify efforts to sign Tyler Dibling

Manchester United are all set to step up their interest in the services of Southampton attacking sensation Tyler Dibling.

According to a report from Caught Offside, Manchester United are looking to reinforce their attack in the ongoing transfer window and they are all set to intensify their efforts to bring Tyler Dibling to the club.

The English youth international has come up the ranks at Southampton. He got promoted to their first team at the start of the ongoing season and hasn’t looked back since.

While the Saints have been struggling in the English top flight, the 18-year-old’s performances have been a massive positive for them. He has been involved in 24 games and has contributed towards six goals.

The majority of his appearances have come on the right flank but he has even featured as a number ten as well as a number nine when needed. Dibling’s incredible rise has put him on the radar of multiple top clubs.

While his contract at Southampton runs until the summer of 2027, he is unlikely to be around for long. Manchester United are one of the clubs that want to sign the young winger. The Red Devils could end up parting ways with Alejandro Garnacho in the ongoing window and they would want to bring in an ideal replacement.

United pushing hard for Dibling’s signature

They have been linked with quite a few top forwards but people at the club believe they should focus on improving the service to their forwards. They want to invest in a versatile forward and Dibling is considered to be a perfect fit for their project.

He has massive potential and given the kind of performances he has put in for Southampton, he could even help them in the short term. The Red Devils are looking to add him to their squad in the ongoing transfer window and are ready to step up their interest.

While United want to acquire his services before the end of the ongoing window, the Saints do not want to lose out on him mid-season. They still have a mathematical chance of surviving the drop and feel the teenager could play a big part in it. Moreover, they have slapped a £55 million price tag on Dibling which will go down significantly if Southampton get relegated. As a result, a move in the next summer window looks more likely.
