Beto offered to AC Milan, move unlikely

AC Milan have been offered the chance to acquire the services of Beto, who is surplus to requirements at Everton.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness, Everton striker Beto has been offered to European giants AC Milan. His agent has been working hard to secure him a move away from the Merseyside club, and he is trying his luck by knocking on the doors of the Italian club.

On the back of an impressive 2022/23 season at Udinese Calcio, where he bagged 10 goals in Serie A, Everton signed Beto in the summer of 2023. The move has not really worked out in the favour of the player as he has been more of a backup option at the English club.

While he has been involved in 16 first-team games, the 26-year-old has been on the pitch for just 538 minutes. The player is not happy with the lack of minutes at the club, and he is considering his future. Beto has reportedly asked for more game time or a move back to Italy, where Torino are interested in his signature.

The Turin-based outfit would love to sign him, but they have not made any progress on a potential transfer. Meanwhile, the player’s agents are working hard to secure him a move away after failing to do so in the summer window.

AC Milan are not interested in Beto

They have offered his services to AC Milan. It is surely an ambitious move from his representatives as they look to get him into a club that plays in the UEFA Champions League. The Serie A giants seek more firepower in the final third , and they have been linked with quite a few stars.

While Beto is available and AC Milan do seek more quality in the final third, they do not consider him an ideal fit for their team. The Everton outcast does not have what it takes to be leading the line for one of the best teams in Europe. While it has not been completely ruled out just yet, Milan are not going to meet Everton’s demands that have been put in front of Torino.
