Ruben Amorim pushing Manchester United to sign Rayan Ait-Nouri

Ruben Amorim has asked Manchester United to acquire the services of Wolves defensive sensation Rayan Ait-Nouri to replace Tyrell Malacia.

Ruben Amorim hasn’t really had the best of times since taking charge of Manchester United. The team have struggled to adjust to his demands and they have been on the receiving end more often than not. While United have significant financial restrictions, they are still looking to make a few moves to strengthen Amorim’s team. They want to bring in players who could help him better implement his style of play.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, the Portuguese manager has demanded the signing of Wolves full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri. He is reportedly ready to sanction the departure of the injury-prone Tyrell Malacia and considers the Algerian international as the ideal replacement.

United have had significant problems at left-back for some time now. Luke Shaw has had his share of injury problems while Malacia who was brought in to cover for him spent the majority of last season on the sidelines following knee surgery.

Amorim wants Ait-Nouri, ready to sell Malacia

Amorim is looking for an upgrade on the left flank. Since he prefers playing with wing-backs, the Portuguese manager is looking to bring in someone who can contribute on both ends of the pitch. He is interested in the services of Ait-Nouri and is ready to part ways with Malacia to raise funds for the signing of the Wolves star.

While the Dutch full-back has recovered from the long-term injury and has been available for some time, Amorim doesn’t seem to count on him. As a result, the Red Devils are ready to sanction his departure and Juventus are reportedly interested in the 25-year-old.

Luke Shaw’s unavailability has caused serious problems for United and the former Sporting CP manager is now keen on bringing in a new first-choice left-back and Ait-Nouri is at the top of his wishlist. The 23-year-old is doing wonders at Wolves.

With nine goal contributions so far, he is the most effective Premier League full-back in the final third and Amorim feels he could help take United to the next level. While the Algerian will be the perfect fit for the Portuguese manager’s system, he won’t come cheap and offloading Malacia will help them push for the services of the Wolves sensation.
