Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly compete with Napoli and Atletico Madrid in the race to secure the services of 20-year-old Manchester United whizkid Alejandro Garnacho.
According to a report by Football Transfers, Alejandro Garnacho is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The Manchester United whizkid is also a target for Napoli and Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, the Premier League club will demand around €70 million to part ways with the Argentine international.
Alejandro Garnacho and his career so far
Alejandro Garnacho has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in October 2020. The Madrid-born attacker quickly progressed through the ranks at the Premier League club before establishing a foothold in the first-team squad at Old Trafford in the 2022/23 season.
Since then, the 20-year-old has been a regular in the final third for Manchester United, turning out over 100 times while chipping in with 23 goals and 14 assists. However, Garnacho faces an uncertain future at Manchester United after being in and out of the starting lineup under Ruben Amorim.
The Portuguese tactician also excluded him from the matchday squad for the game against Manchester City last month. However, the Argentine international’s stock in the market is high, with Napoli and Tottenham Hotspur among his prospective suitors for his signature.

Napoli’s interest in Alejandro Garnacho is understandable. The Serie A giants are scouring the market for a wide attacker as they prepare to part ways with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. With the Georgian international closing in on joining Paris Saint-Germain, Antonio Conte needs a replacement. So, the Manchester United whizkid has emerged as a target, with the move appealing to him.
However, the Serie A giants face stiff competition from Tottenham, with the Lilywhites expressing their interest in the Madrid-born attacker. With Richarlison facing an uncertain future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the North London giants need a replacement. So, the Manchester United forward has emerged as a viable target for them.
However, Manchester United’s asking price might pose a problem, with the Red Devils demanding around €70 million to part ways with him. So, it will be interesting to see if a move to Napoli or Tottenham materialises for the 20-year-old Argentine international.
