Manchester United and Leicester City keen on Francesco Esposito

Manchester United and Leicester City are interested in Inter Milan’s young forward Francesco Esposito after an impressive spell with Spezia.

According to Sport Italia, Francesco Esposito has some suitors from the Premier League, as Manchester United and Leicester City are showing an interest. Inter Milan are the player’s current club although he has been impressing while on loan in Serie B with Spezia.

Francesco Esposito has been in the news of late, following an impressive loan spell with Spezia in Serie B. He has scored nine times and assisted once this season, which has seen his market valuye rise as well as make some of the Premier League clubs take notice.

Inter Milan are not in the best financial state at the moment, although they are not on the brink of a disaster. In any case, the Nerazzuri might be in a position where they might sell their homegrown talent to comply with the spending rules, and with Esposito, they might have a case to consider.

Manchester United and Leicester City are keen on the forward as they view him as a project player for the future. Should Inter Milan let them know of their asking price, and if it does fall within their range, a deal could be on the cards as early as this month.

However, the two clubs are currently only in a mode to keep monitoring the striker and hope that he keeps improveing at Spezia. Inter Milan will have a price on their mind, although they might also want to see him in their team first-hand around next season before making any decision on his immediate future.

Manchester United and Leicester City are eyeing young talent

Leicester City were recently linked with Evan Ferguson, and while the Irish international might be made available on loan, the likelihood of that happening might be remote. In any case, the Brighton man will also be an expensive acquisition when it comes to signing him permanently. Esposito, the 19-year-old Italian attacker, would be a cheaper alternative and would seem like a sound investment for the future.

Manchester United are already thinking of reforming their entire transfer policy and signing as many younger players as possible. The 19-year-old Italian attacker might fit into their ideas of bringing someone early and aiding their development, which is also the reason why they are interested in Esposito.
