Tottenham Hotspur offered the chance to sign Davide Frattesi

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign Inter Milan midfield star Davide Frattesi.

Tottenham are looking at the winter transfer window as an opportunity to reinforce their squad after a poor first half of the season. Ange Postecoglou is keen on adding more quality to his team and according to a report from TBR, Spurs have been offered the chance to sign Davide Frattesi.

The Italian international made a name for himself at Sassuolo before joining Inter Milan in the summer of 2023. He initially joined them on a season-long loan but the move became permanent last summer.

While his contract at Inter runs until the summer of 2028 and the move only became permanent six months back, Frattesi is already frustrated by the lack of minutes. He had a total of 1,555 minutes last season and has racked up less than 1,000 minutes so far this season.

The 25-year-old is not happy with his situation at the club and his representatives are on the lookout for a new destination for the Italian midfielder who can feature in different roles in the centre of the park.

Tottenham can sign Frattesi in January

His agents have been offering his services to top clubs from across Europe and Tottenham are believed to be one of them. The North London club have been presented with the opportunity to sign the £42 million-rated star this month.

Ange Postecoglou’s team have had a poor first half and they are looking to make significant additions to their team in the winter to get things back on track. They have already made their first signing of January by adding Antonin Kinsky to their squad.

Having added more depth to the goalkeeping position, Spurs are looking to add more quality to their midfield and Frattesi could be a great signing for them. While they have been offered the chance to sign the Italian, he is not really keen on moving away from Serie A which does complicate any potential deal.

There is interest in his services from AS Roma as Claudio Ranieri wants to add him to his squad. With the player preferring staying in Italy, Spurs will have to convince him if they want to sign him in the ongoing window.
