Manchester United and Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Lee Kang-in, valued at €40 million.
According to a report by Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web, an adventure in the Premier League might be on the cards for Lee Kang-in. Manchester United and Newcastle United are vying for the signature of the Paris Saint-Germain playmaker. The two Premier League clubs have made initial enquiries, with the Ligue 1 champions demanding around €40 million to part ways with him.
How has Lee Kang-in fared at PSG?
Lee Kang-in has been a solid performer since joining Paris Saint-Germain from RCD Mallorca in July 2023. The move came out of nowhere, leaving football fans perplexed. However, the Asian playmaker has vindicated PSG’s decision by producing solid performances in the final third.
While the 23-year-old has not been an undisputed first-choice starter for PSG in the last 18 months, he has made his mark whenever he has taken the field. Lee has amassed nearly 1,500 minutes of game time across 24 appearances in all competitions this term, chipping in with six goals and two assists.
