AC Milan ready to pay Marcus Rashford wages

AC Milan are willing to fork out the required wages to land Marcus Rashford on loan this month, with Manchester United open to an exit.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, AC Milan are eager to push for the signing of Marcus Rashford on loan this month, and they are willing to pay his salary. The 27-year-old Manchester United star’s high wages are an issue for most suitors, although the Rossoneri are prepared to invest, albeit for a short period.

Marcus rashford might have already played his last game for Manchester United as talk of an imminent exit picks up steam. The 27-year-old Manchester United star has been left out of the first-team squad ever since admitting his desire to leave, as his future lies away from Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old Manchester United star still commands a massive interest in the market, as a number of top sides would be willing to sign him. However, the January window usually comes with its complexities, which make top-rated signings a real difficulty, and that might apply to Rashford.

Manchester United are aware of the situation, and they could sanction a loan deal until the end of the season. Salary issues are a problem, given that Rashford is one of the highest-paid stars at the club, which would put off many suitors from the chase.

AC Milan are interested in the forward, and now the report states they are willing to fork out the money required to match his salary. They are plotting a loan move until the end of the season, and despite earlier stories suggesting Rashford’s wages might be a problem for the Rossoneri, it does appear that he could move to the San Siro.

Does Marcus Rashford make sense for AC Milan?

Rashford is certainly a market opportunity for Milan, although he’s not an absolute necessity for the club in the current stage. They do have Rafael Leao on the left wing, which is where Rashford prefers to play on the pitch, meaning some might come to question their decision to sign the 27-year-old Manchester United star.

They are also well-stocked in the other attacking areas, although Rashford only plays in the striker role apart from the left-wing. Hence, any move to Milan, given his huge salary might be seen as pointless by some, as there are doubts whether Rashford is better than Leao at the current moment.
