Sevilla, Real Betis vying for Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been linked with a move away from the Merseyside club in recent months.

According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Sevilla and Real Betis are keen on signing 27-year-old Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in a Bosman move in the summer transfer window. The English striker will be out of contract in the summer of 2025 and he will be available on a free transfer.

Sevilla and Real Betis have both been quite mediocre this season, and they need quality additions. Signing the 27-year-old striker on a free transfer could prove to be an attractive option for them.

It will be interesting to see if Dominic Calvert-Lewin is ready to move to La Liga at the end of the season. The Englishman has shown his quality in England over the years, and he could be open to trying out a new challenge at this stage of his career. With that said, there is likely to be interest in the player from England as well. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Calvert-Lewin could be a useful option

The 27-year-old striker has not been at his best in recent seasons, and he will look to bounce back strongly. Regular football in La Liga could bring out the best in Dominic Calvert-Lewin once again and help him recapture his form.

Losing a player of his quality as a free agent will be a major blow for Everton. However, the Toffees are powerless to stop him from leaving because of his contract situation. The situation has also alerted other clubs, including Atalanta.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old will be able to secure a pre-contract agreement with Sevilla and Real Betis this month. It remains to be seen which of the two Spanish clubs can manage to secure an agreement with the player.

Calvert-Lewin is at the peak of his powers, and he will look to hit the ground running and transform either of the two Spanish clubs. In addition, the English international will add physicality and aerial prowess to the team he joins. The 27-year-old is excellent in the air, and he could add a new dimension to the Sevilla or Real Betis attack if he joins them.
