Manchester United not ruling out loaning out Tyrell Malacia, Ruben Amorim happy with player

Manchester United are open to letting Tyrell Malacia leave on loan this month if they can find a suitable upgrade, with Juventus keen.

According to Give Me Sport, Manchester United could still decide to offload Tyrell Malacia in this month’s window. Juventus are eager to sign the Dutchman on loan following their problems at the back, but Ruben Amorim is reportedly happy with the left-back’s performances although, at this moment, seemingly open to parting ways.

Ruben Amorim has had a tough time managing Manchester United in the early phase of his tenure at Old Trafford. Some chastening defeats and abject performances have set the tone for the beginning of the Portuguese tactician’s era at the club, but the transfer window does allow the new tactician to make some necessary tweaks.

Reports have suggested Manchester United do not have an awful lot in terms of money to spend in January. A left-back is a priority requirement at Old Trafford this month, but to get a required player they might have to offload at least one of their existing options in Tyrell Malacia or Luke Shaw.

The former seems like a possibility to leave, as Manchester United are open to letting him go on a loan deal until the end of the season. The idea here is to have the player back next season, as the club are eager to add regular minutes under his belt and allow him to play at a competitive level.

At Manchester United, the time to experiment could have come to an end as they might be looking for players in the market that fit in immediately. As for Malacia, he’s coming at the back of a long-term problem that has seen him miss the best part of 18 months.

Juventus keen on signing Malacia loan

Juventus are interested in signing Tyrell Malacia this month on loan as they have big problems at the back. The injury to Juan Cabal has rendered them short of a left-back, and veteran Danilo, who was playing in that role many times this season, seems to be ready to leave the Bianconeri in the coming days.

Hence, the idea of signing the 25-year-old Manchester United defender on loan will have some appeal, as Malacia could get regular game time, even without being the first choice in that position. It remains to be seen what the player prefers to do, as he is slowly getting back to his feet at Old Trafford and may even oppose another break that halts his rhythm.
