French international striker Randal Kolo Muani has been linked with a move away from PSG, with Aston Villa vying for his signature.
Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United are keen on signing Randal Kolo Muani. According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Unai Emery wants the West Midlands club to get a deal done for the 26-year-old.
Kolo Muani has not been able to live up to the expectations since joining PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt. However, there is no doubt that he is a quality player. He has proven his quality in the Bundesliga and with the French national team.
A fresh start could be ideal for him and it could bring out the best in the player once again. Aston Villa could certainly use quality attackers, and Randal Kolo Muani would be the ideal partner for Ollie Watkins.
Just like Watkins, the 26-year-old Frenchman is more than just a goalscorer. He will help out creatively as well. He is also versatile enough to operate in multiple attacking roles. He will add some much-needed quality and depth to the Aston Villa attack.
The West Midlands club will be pushing for UEFA Champions League qualification, and they need top-quality players at their disposal. Signing the PSG forward could be a wise decision. Given his situation at the Ligue 1 club, he might be available for a reasonable amount of money, and this is the right time for Aston Villa to snap him up.
Manchester United and Tottenham need Kolo Muani
Manchester United need attacking reinforcements after summer signing Joshua Zirkzee has failed to live up to the expectations. The Dutchman is clearly not a key part of Ruben Amorim’s first team plans, and he will need to be replaced adequately.
In addition, Marcus Rashford faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford. So, Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as a viable target for Manchester United. It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils decide to make a move for the French international.
Tottenham have been linked with the player as well, and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for the 2022 World Cup finalist. Spurs signed Dominic Solanke in the summer transfer window, and he could certainly use more support in the attack.
Kolo Muani could help share the goalscoring and creative burden with the other attackers. The 26-year-old French international needs to join a club where he will get ample first-team action, and it remains to be seen whether Aston Villa, Manchester United, and Tottenham are prepared to provide him with game-time assurances.
