Barcelona are also among a host of other clubs keen on the Crystal Palace star, with his contract set to expire in the summer which does make him an exciting target for some of the big teams.
Arsenal and Tottenham are in the market for a left-back, although the requirement is not something they will bother with immediately in January. For the Gunners, there are concerns with the positions despite having a well-stocked collection of left-backs, although the likes of Kieran Tierney are set to leave, while there are considerable doubts about Oleksandr Zinchenko’s future.
Even Myles Lewis-Skelly, who has done so brilliantly in a left-back position during recent games, is viewed as a future midfielder rather than a full-back. Hence, realistically look for a new left-back as competition for Riccardo Calafiori, as Tyrick Mitchell is emerging as a target for Miketargeta.

However, Mitchell could potentally choose to stay put in London where he can feature for one of the big clubs in the English capital. While Barcelona might have a slight advantage on paper, the 25-year-old Premier League full-back might be keen to stay put in his city and feature for a more prominent side here.
