PSG are keen on acquiring the services of Aston Villa attacking sensation Jhon Duran and are ready to offer Randal Kolo Muani in return.
PSG have their eyes set on high-flying Jhon Duran and according to a report from Fichajes, they are exploring a potential swap deal to sign the Aston Villa ace; the Ligue 1 giants are ready to offer Randal Kolo Muani as they look to bring the Colombian international to Paris.
Kolo Muani’s impressive performances at Eintracht Frankfurt put him on PSG’s radar. They forked out a significant fee to bring him to the club in the summer of 2023. Unfortunately, the move hasn’t really gone according to plan as he has failed to convince Luis Enrique that he is the right man to lead their attack.
While he has been involved in 14 matches, he has racked up less than 500 minutes of first-team action. His contract at the French club runs until the summer of 2028 but PSG are convinced that he is not a part of their long-term plans and they are looking to get him off their books as soon as possible.
PSG keen on signing Jhon Duran
Luis Enrique’s team are looking to bring in a top-quality forward who could help them in the short as well as the long run. Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran is one of the names on their wishlist, and Randal Kolo Muani might be a sweetener. His incredible rise has caught their attention and they are exploring a swap deal to bring him to the club.
The 21-year-old striker who joined the Premier League outfit at the start of 2023 has been on fire in the ongoing campaign. He has been involved in 25 games and has racked up 12 goals. While the majority of his appearances have come off the bench, he has become an x-factor player for Unai Emery.
Multiple top clubs are after his signature and PSG do not want to miss out on him. They are ready to offer Kolo Muani along with a significant fee to ensure they can strike a deal with Villa. While it won’t be that straightforward, the French giants are pushing hard.
They have initiated contact with the English club to explore an exchange deal. With PSG ready to offer a significant sum along with Randal Kolo Muani, Aston Villa can surely consider parting ways with Jhon Duran. For now, they are looking at whether the French international will fit into Emery’s plans.
