Barcelona have established contact as they look to sign Arsenal and Liverpool target Sverre Nypan who prefers joining Manchester United.
Sverre Nypan’s future has become a massive talking point ahead of the winter transfer window. His impressive rise at Rosenborg has not gone unnoticed, and some of the biggest clubs in Europe are after his signature.
According to a report from TBR Football, Barcelona are keen on adding him to their squad, and they have already made contacts as they look to secure his services. Apart from the Catalan giants, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked with the Scandinavian sensation.
While the Gunners and the Reds have been working on a potential transfer, Manchester United are considered to be the favourites at this stage as they have a long-standing interest in him, and the player also prefers moving to Old Trafford.
Nypan joined Rosenborg at the start of 2022, and he has only gone from strength to strength since. He already has 60 first-team appearances despite only being 18 and has even contributed towards 24 goals in those outings.
The Norwegian youth international looks destined for greatness and multiple top clubs are ready to battle it out for his signature. While he is a key figure at Rosenborg, they are ready to sanction his departure for a fee of around £10 million.

The Blaugrana have already taken a step towards signing Sverre Nypan as they have had contacts over a potential deal in recent weeks. Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen on signing the versatile star after having scouted him for a while now.
Manchester United confident about signing Nypan
While there is no shortage of interest in his signature, Manchester United remain confident about getting a deal over the line. They first spotted Sverre Nypan back when he was just 14 and have been closely following his progress over the years.
The Red Devils are already holding talks to sign the starlet as they look to add him to Ruben Amorim’s squad in January. Manchester United have a massive advantage in the race for his signature as he prefers playing for them.
