According to a report by Spanish journalist Sergio Fernandez, Diogo Dalot is the subject of interest from Real Madrid. The reigning La Liga champions are scouring the market for a right-back ahead of the two transfer windows next year. So, the Manchester United mainstay has emerged as a target, with Los Blancos asking about the full-back, who will cost around €50 million.

Diogo Dalot has been a mainstay at the back for Manchester United in the last few years. The then-teenager arrived at Old Trafford amid hype surrounding him when the Red Devils signed him from FC Porto in July 2018, with Jose Mourinho high on him. However, he had to bide his time before becoming a regular for Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not trusting him much.
Things changed when Erik ten Hag took over as the Manchester United manager, and Dalot has not looked back since then. The 25-year-old has turned out 178 times thus far for Manchester United while chipping in with six goals and 12 assists.
Meanwhile, Dalot’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe. Real Madrid will be one of his prospective suitors next year, with a winter bid also possible.
