La Liga club Rayo Vallecano will look to complete a Bosman move for 27-year-old Real Madrid misfit Jesus Vallejo in the 2025 summer transfer window.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Jesus Vallejo is the subject of interest from Rayo Vallecano. The Real Madrid defender has entered the final nine months of his contract with Los Blancos. The situation has piqued the attention of La Liga club Rayo Vallecano, and they will look to complete a Bosman move for the Spanish defender.
Jesus Vallejo and his Real Madrid misery
Jesus Vallejo has seen his progress come to a stuttering halt since joining Real Madrid from Real Zaragoza nearly a decade ago. The Spaniard was one of the best young prospects in his homeland during his spell with Los Manos, even donning the armband after breaking into the first-team squad.
The 27-year-old joined Real Madrid in August 2015 but has turned out only 32 times thus far for the reigning La Liga champions while chipping in with one goal. Vallejo has embarked on four loan spells away from the Santiago Bernabeu but has not left Los Blancos despite struggling for game time.
The Spanish defender will complete a decade at Real Madrid but will finally end his misery at the Santiago Bernabeu in the 2025 summer transfer window. The former Real Zaragoza star does not have a shortage of suitors pursuing his signature, with Rayo Vallecano keen on completing a Bosman move next year.

Rayo Vallecano’s interest in Jesus Vallejo is understandable. The Franjirrojos are scouring the market for a centre-back heading into the 2025 summer transfer window. While Inigo Perez has four centre-backs in his squad, two defenders are on the wrong side of 30 and approaching the twilight of their careers.
Florian Lejeune is 33 years old, and Aridane Hernandez is 35. So, it behoves Rayo Vallecano to dip into the market for a younger centre-back, with the Real Madrid misfit emerging as a target. In addition, the Spaniard is an appealing prospect, considering his contract with Real Madrid will expire in the 2025 summer transfer window.
