Manchester United continue to be linked with a move for 24-year-old Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies.
According to an update by reputed Italian journalist Florian Plettenberg, Alphonso Davies is a dream target for Manchester United, and they are hoping to get a deal done. The 24-year-old could be signed for a nominal price in January because of his contract situation.
The Canadian international defender will be a free agent in the summer of 2025 and he has not signed an extension with Bayern Munich yet. The German club could look to sell him for a knockdown price in January or lose him on a free transfer in the summer. It would make sense for them to cash in on the player in January for a reasonable amount of money.
