Victor Lindelof’s representatives and intermediaries have offered the defender to Juventus as the Italian club continues to search for a defender.
According to Tutto Sport, Juventus could have the option to bring Victor Lindelof in a cut-price deal after intermediaries offered the Swede to the club. The centre-back does not have a future at Old Trafford beyond next summer when his contract expires, as the Bianconeri continues to look for a viable Gleison Bremer replacement.
Juventus’ plans were put through a stern test very early in the season as crucial defender Gleison Bremer suffered a season-ending injury. The Brazilian was an essential part of Thiago Motta’s plans, and ever since he was sidelined, the club has seen multiple links to players as a replacement option.
Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior is a target, and Tottenham’s Radu Dragusin is also on their list. The former might be slightly in with a chance to leave his current club due to a lack of regular action, with the latter unlikely to be sold by Spurs.
Juventus are keeping their options open ahead of January, as it seems imperative they bring in a replacement for Bremer. However, finances are a significant factor in this particular defensive signing, as the Bianconeri are not flush with cash to splurge on a new player, meaning they might look at cost-effective options.
Victor Lindelof’s name has emerged after a report stated that intermediaries and the player’s representatives have reportedly offered him to Juventus. Given his current contractual situation, Juventus could consider a cut-price deal for the Swede, as Manchester United are ready to entertain offers.
Victor Lindelof to leave Manchester United?
With Ruben Amorim entering the frame at Old Trafford, Lindelof was an old teammate of the new Manchester United boss as they played together at Benfica. That alone would not be a factor in Amorim wanting to keep the Swede, as the defender continues to attract attention from elsewhere, with AC Milan being one of those keen.
Fenerbahce are also eager to add Lindelof, which will represent a reunion with Jose Mourinho. However, the idea of Juventus might entice the Swede, as he would likely get the chance to play far more regularly than his current plight, as Manchester United will likely accept a cut-price deal for the defender.
