Omar Marmoush keen on Liverpool move, Reds in talks

Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing 25-year-old Egyptian international Omar Marmoush from Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Omar Marmoush has been in exceptional form for Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt this season, and he has 24 goal contributions already. According to a report from Bild, the 25-year-old striker is keen on a move to Liverpool, and the Reds are currently in talks to secure his signature. The fact that the player is interested in the move will come as a major boost for the English club.

The striker is valued at around €50-60 million and Liverpool certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done. They need a quality striker like him who can find the back of the net consistently.

Darwin Nunez was signed with a lot of expectations but the former Benfica striker has not been able to score goals consistently. His numbers are still quite impressive but Liverpool need a clinical finisher in their ranks. The Egyptian would be the ideal acquisition for them.

Furthermore, Mohamed Salah will be a free agent in the summer and Liverpool will need to replace his end product. He has been a prolific goalscorer for the club and replacing him with his compatriot could prove to be a wise decision.

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool agree to pay the asking price for him. The Egyptian is undoubtedly a quality player with a bright future and he will only get better with coaching and experience. He could easily justify the investment in the coming seasons.

Omar Marmoush fancies Liverpool move

The opportunity to play for Liverpool will be quite attractive for him and it is no surprise that the player is interested in joining them. It would be a huge step up in his career and he would get to fight for major trophies with them.

He has already shown his quality in the German league, and he will look to take the next step in his development. He would get to play alongside top-class players at Liverpool and compete at the highest level with them. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world and they could help take his game to the next level.
