Manchester United have enquired about Bayern Munich attacking sensation Leroy Sane who is also on the wishlist of Arsenal.
According to Christian Falk, Manchester United are looking to reinforce their attack and they are interested in the services of Leroy Sane whose contract at Bayern Munich is running out. Arsenal are also keen on the signature of the German international.
Sane was a huge prospect following his emergence at FC Schalke. He became a big name in the world of football following his move to Manchester City. After a four-year successful spell at the Premier League club, he made the move to Bayern in the summer of 2020 and has only gone from strength to strength since.
The 28-year-old has been a key figure at the German club over the years but his role seems to have changed under new boss Vincent Kompany. He has been used as a substitute on the majority of the occasions this season and with his contract running out, his long-term future has become a big talking point.
Sane is all set to be a free agent in the summer and there is no shortage of interest in his services. While the German versatile forward will wait to negotiate with Bayern before making any decision on his future, top English clubs are considering bringing him back to the Premier League.
Manchester United want to sign Sane
Manchester United are the ones leading the race for his signature. While they have some quality options on the left flank, the same cannot be said about the right flank. They are considering adding more firepower to their attack and feel the former City star could be a great fit for their new manager Ruben Amorim’s system.
The Red Devils have already enquired about the German winger as they plot a Bosman move for the summer of 2025. While United have already started making moves to ensure they win the race for his services, Arsenal are also keen on Sane’s signature and they will rival the Red Devils.
The North London clubs have quality options in the final third of the pitch but they won’t mind adding another former City star to their ranks having signed quite a few of them under Mikel Arteta.
