West Ham United will have to fork out around £25-30 million to sign Club Brugge attacking sensation Andreas Skov Olsen.
Andreas Skov Olsen’s consistent performances for Club Brugge have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs. According to a report from Football Insider, West Ham United are one of the clubs who are keen on his signature and they could secure his services for a fee of around £25-30 million.
Skov Olsen did not have the best of time as Bologna as he only scored three goals and bagged five assists in his 71 outings. He then ended up joining the Belgian club at the start of 2022 and has not looked back since.
The 24-year-old Danish winger has been a consistent performer for Brugge. Andreas Skov Olsen’s work has put him on the radar of multiple Premier League clubs, who could soon battle it out for his signature.
Skov Olsen has five goals and an assist in his 12 league outings this season. The right-winger has drawn comparisons to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah because of his style of play and his ability to cut inside and do damage with his left foot.
While the dane is a key figure in the Belgian club’s dressing room, his future there looks uncertain with his contract running out in the summer of 2026. Andreas Skov Olsen will soon enter the final 18 months of his contract in January and interested clubs could start making moves to sign him.
West Ham keen on signing Skov Olsen
The report suggests Club Brugge will be ready to sanction his departure for a fee of around £25-30 million. With the right-winger available for a decent fee, West Ham United are keen on acquiring his services. The Hammers have been interested in Andreas Skov Olsen for a while now and they see this as a great opportunity to reinforce their attack.
The Irons have been doing the due diligence on the Danish international. They seek more quality in the final third of the pitch and Olsen could be a great addition to their ranks. While he did fail during his stint at Bologna, the 24-year-old has gained significant experience over the last few years and he finally seems ready to take a big step forward in his career.
