Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly keen on Randal Kolo Muani as rumours of an exit from PSG continue to run in the media.
According to Inter-Live, Arsenal and Manchester United would be interested in a move for Randal Kolo Muani should he end up leaving PSG. Recent rumours have consistently pointed towards an exit from the French side in the coming future, at which point a move to the Premier League might be on the cards.
Randal Kolo Muani was a significant investment made by PSG in the summer of 2023, but the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward has not particularly lived up to expectations. He has been a good force in the attacking third, but Luis Enrique has yet to show full faith in him and consistently pick him for games.
This season, he has started only three games in all competitions for PSG, as rumours of a possible future exit continue to rumble in the media. The 25-year-old 2022 World Cup finalist has failed to nail down a regular place despite the space opening up following Kylian Mbappe’s exit, but there might be tactical question marks about his style.
Either way, despite only three starts, he has two goals to his name, and there’s still a big possibility that Kolo Muani could impose himself to become a top player at PSG this season. Hence, while there are links with a move away from the club, he could still stay for the long term. However, should he be put up for sale, the 25-year-old 2022 World Cup finalist will have suitors from the Premier League lining up a move.
Newcastle United are reportedly considering a move for Kolo Muani as a possible replacement for Alexander Isak. He was apparently offered to several other Premier League sides, with Manchester United and Arsenal now linked with a move for the 25-year-old.
Arsenal and Manchester United keen on Randal Kolo Muani
Manchester United were linked with the striker a while ago, only for follow-up reports to claim he won’t be available in January. The summer window would represent a different question, as there’s a chance PSG could opt to cash in on the striker.
Arsenal would also be in the mix, as they are in the market for a new striker. Kolo Muani’s profile and ability to play different positions in the front three would please Mikel Arteta, although any move to the Emirates will depend on the price he’s available for.
