Premier League heavyweights Chelsea have reportedly identified 22-year-old Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi as their priority target.
According to a report by French outlet Jeunes Footeux, Karim Adeyemi is the subject of interest from Chelsea. The Blues are keen on bolstering their offensive department in the 2025 summer transfer window. The 22-year-old Borussia Dortmund attacker has thus emerged as a target for the West London club.

Karim Adeyemi has had to bide to find a stable footing at Borussia Dortmund. The youngster joined the Bundesliga club from Red Bull Salzburg in July 2022 but blew hot and cold in his first two seasons with the Black and Yellows. However, he has come into his own in the first few weeks of the 2024/25 campaign.
The 22-year-old has contributed to ten goals in only eight games across all competitions by finding the back of the net five times and providing five assists. Meanwhile, Adeyemi’s exploits for Borussia Dortmund in the 2024/25 season have not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe.
Widespread reports have linked the German international with European bigwigs like Inter Milan and Liverpool. The latest update has suggested that Adeyemi is a target for Liverpool, with the West London club viewing him as the priority target for next year.

Chelsea’s interest in Karim Adeyemi is intriguing. The Blues have a stacked offensive department, with Enzo Maresca having two options for every position. However, Mykhailo Mudryk faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, and the Borussia Dortmund attacker can be his long-term replacement.
In addition, the 22-year-old prospect can play across the frontline, meaning he can be an alternative to Nicolas Jackson as the central striker. The report by Jeunes Footeux has claimed that Adeyemi has emerged as the priority target for Chelsea ahead of the two transfer windows next year.
