Arsenal keeping tabs on Noa Lang

Premier League heavyweights Arsenal are reportedly tracking the progress of 25-year-old Dutch winger Noa Lang at PSV Eindhoven.

According to a report by Give Me Sport, Noa Lang is the subject of interest from Arsenal. The Gunners are keen on reinforcing their offensive department by signing a wide attacker next year. So, they have set their sights on the PSV Eindhoven winger, and a bid might be on the cards soon from the North London club.

Who is Noa Lang?

Noa Lang has established himself as one of the most dependable performers in Serie A since joining PSV Eindhoven from Club Brugge in July 2023. A native of Capelle aan de IJssel, the Dutchman spent his formative years in his homeland, passing through the academies at four clubs and graduating from the youth division at Ajax.

However, Lang’s stock rose during his spell with Club Brugge, and he has continued from where he left off in Mumbai. The 23-year-old has turned out 30 times thus far for PSV Eindhoven while chipping in with eight goals and three assists.

Meanwhile, Lang’s progress at PSV Eindhoven has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe, including Arsenal. The North London club might also be tempted by the Dutch winger’s appealing £25,000-a-week wages.

London calling?

Arsenal’s interest in Noa Lang is understandable. Mikel Arteta wants to create a squad with multiple top-notch options for every position. While the Spanish tactician is close to fulfilling his objective, some areas require reinforcements. These include the wide attacking berths in the Arsenal squad.

So, several wide attackers, including Geovany Quenda, have emerged on Arsenal’s radar, with Lang also a viable target. The Dutchman has been on Arsenal’s radar for a long time, and they have closely monitored his progress and performances since the North London club faced PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League last season.

Arsenal should have the funds to match Noa Lang’s £25,000-a-week wages and hand him an improved salary. The report has suggested that a bid might be on the cards in the future. It will be interesting to see if the 25-year-old Dutch winger lands at the Emirates anytime soon.
