Manchester United have reportedly identified 23-year-old Spanish international Miguel Gutierrez as their top left-back target for next year.

The Red Devils are keen on signing a left-back next year and view the Girona full-back as their top target for the position. Meanwhile, the Spanish international has a release clause worth €35 million in his contract with the Catalan club, while Real Madrid can re-sign him for €8-9 million.

Miguel Gutierrez has established himself as one of the best full-backs in La Liga since joining Girona from Real Madrid in August 2022. A native of Pinto, the Spaniard began his youth career in his hometown before spending half a decade with Getafe. However, he graduated from the fabled La Fabrica at Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old was with Real Madrid for over a decade but could not establish a foothold in the first-team squad at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, Gutierrez has gone from strength to strength during his spell with Girona, turning out nearly 100 times thus far while chipping in with five goals and 14 assists.
