Arsenal uninterested in selling Jakub Kiwior amid Inter Milan, Juventus links

Arsenal will not entertain any offers for 24-year-old Polish international Jakub Kiwior in the January transfer window amid his links with Inter Milan and Juventus.

According to a report by Italian outlet Juve Live, Inter Milan and Juventus have been keen on signing Jakub Kiwior in the January transfer window. However, Arsenal will not cash in on the 24-year-old utility man this winter after losing Riccardo Calafiori to a knee injury this week.

Jakub Kiwior and his Arsenal journey so far

Jakub Kiwior has struggled for regular game time since joining Arsenal from Spezia in January 2023. The move came out of nowhere and surprised many. But while the Pole has barely featured for the North London club, he has made his mark whenever the opportunities have come his way.

The 24-year-old has turned out nearly 50 times thus far for Arsenal while chipping in with two goals and three assists. Meanwhile, despite not being a regular for the Gunners, Kiwior’s stock in the market remains high, with Inter Milan and Juventus keen on taking him back to Serie A in the January transfer window.

Multiple Serie A clubs were keen on signing the Polish international from Arsenal in the summer transfer window. However, the North London club did not entertain any offers for the versatile defender after his exploits in the second half of the 2023/24 season.

Serie A return on the cards?

Inter Milan’s interest in Jakub Kiwior is understandable. With Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi in the twilight of their careers, the Serie A champions need a new centre-back next year. So, the Arsenal utility man has emerged as a viable target for Inter Milan heading into the January transfer window.

As for Juventus, the Turin giants are mulling over signing a centre-back in the January transfer window after losing Gleison Bremer to a season-ending knee injury. So, Kiwior has emerged as a viable target for Juventus. However, Arsenal will not cash in on the 24-year-old Polish international this winter.

The Gunners have lost Riccardo Calafiori to a knee injury. With the timeline of Calafiori’s absence unclear, Arsenal’s decision to keep hold of Kiwior is understandable. So, Inter Milan and Juventus must look elsewhere for a central defensive reinforcement next year.
