Crystal Palace formulating offer to sign Bazoumana Toure

Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing an offer to sign 18-year-old Ivorian winger Bazoumana Toure from Swedish club Hammarby IF next year.

According to a report by Swedish outlet Expressen, Bazoumana Toure is the subject of interest from Crystal Palace. The Eagles are keen on reinforcing their offensive department by signing a wide attacker next year. So, they have identified the 18-year-old Hammarby IF winger as a target and are formulating a proposal to sign the teenager from the Swedish club.

The Bazoumana Toure tale

Bazoumana Toure is the latest African prospect to rise in prominence at a European club. The last few years have witnessed the advent of several highly-rated prodigies, with Mohammed Kudus and Ousmane Diomande among those to establish a foothold at a well-known club a few years after moving to the continent.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed a solid 2024/25 season thus far, contributing to ten goals in 19 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net seven times and providing three assists. Meanwhile, Toure’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe.

Recent reports have claimed that the Ivory Coast youth international was the subject of scouting trips from Manchester United and over ten other clubs. The latest update has revealed that Crystal Palace will look to sign Toure from Hammarby IF next year.

London calling

Crystal Palace’s interest in Bazoumana Toure is understandable. The Eagles are scouring the market for a new attacker ahead of the two transfer windows next year, with Oliver Glasner keen on reinforcing his squad’s offensive department. So, Toure has emerged as a viable target for Crystal Palace.

In addition, amid uncertainties surrounding the long-term future of Eberechi Eze, Crystal Palace should invest in a promising attacker. So, Toure is an appealing target, with the South London club formulating a bid to sign the teenage sensation from Hammarby IF next year.

However, Crystal Palace must quickly intensify the efforts to sign the 18-year-old Ivory Coast youth international next year. However, the Eagles will likely face stiff competition from fellow Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United, with other well-known clubs also keen on securing his services.
