Luis Enrique pushing PSG to sign Mohamed Salah

Luis Enrique is reportedly pushing PSG to bring Mohamed Salah next season, which could be a sensational coup in light of Saudi interest.

According to Fichajes, PSG could push for Mohamed Salah, as Luis Enrique wants the Egyptian to be in Paris. The Liverpool star could have several high-profile offers when his contract expires in Merseyside in the following summer. However, the Ligue 1 giants will have to convince him of a far more lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.

Financial terms for any player are essential in any conversation about a transfer, and in Mohamed Salah’s case, he is still able to draw a top salary. Saudi Pro League clubs have chased him for two years now, and the summer of 2025, when his Liverpool deal expires, could prove pivotal.

Liverpool have several big decisions to make with the likes of Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk running down their existing deals as things stand. The club are confident of keeping at least two of those players beyond next summer. However, there is no clarity on their plan in doing so.

Salah has tremendous interest from many places, with Inter Milan being the latest to show interest. He will have huge offers on the table heading into the summer, especially from Saudi Arabia, where Al-Ahli is the latest to join the hunt.

Should Salah decide to continue his career in Europe, he could also consider PSG, with the French giants keen to sign him next summer. Compared to most clubs in the continent, the Parisians are more than capable of offering a vast salary to the seven-season Liverpool veteran, meaning they could be a massive option for the Merseyside legend.

Luis Enrique is pushing for Salah

Luis Enrique might be the catalyst in PSG’s pursuit of Salah, as the Spanish coach wants a superstar in his side next season. Signing the Egyptian will be wonderful for the league and the club in general, as they have missed a big presence ever since the departure of Kylian Mbappe this summer.

The Frenchman’s departure has taken away many goals from their attacking unit, something Salah specialises in. For PSG to sign the seven-season Liverpool veteran, they will have to make a convincing offer. It may not be as lucrative as the Saudi clubs’, but they are probably the only side in Europe that can get close to those levels.
