The Liverpool star could have several high-profile offers when his contract expires in Merseyside in the following summer. However, the Ligue 1 giants will have to convince him of a far more lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
Financial terms for any player are essential in any conversation about a transfer, and in Mohamed Salah’s case, he is still able to draw a top salary. Saudi Pro League clubs have chased him for two years now, and the summer of 2025, when his Liverpool deal expires, could prove pivotal.
Liverpool have several big decisions to make with the likes of Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk running down their existing deals as things stand. For PSG to sign the seven-season Liverpool veteran, they will have to make a convincing offer. It may not be as lucrative as the Saudi clubs’, but they are probably the only side in Europe that can get close to those levels.
