Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham are scouting Midtjylland attacking sensation Dario Osorio who is also on the wishlist of Crystal Palace and Manchester United.
According to a report from Give Me Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Dario Osorio, who has enjoyed an incredible rise at Danish club Midtjylland. The North London club are scouting the Chilean starlet, who has been compared to former Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria.
Osorio came up the ranks at Club Universidad de Chile before joining the Danish outfit in the summer of 2023. The 20-year-old right-winger has featured in 40 matches for Midtjylland and has contributed towards 14 goals (11 goals, 3 assists).
The South American is already a regular for the national team, and his performances have not gone unnoticed. Crystal Palace and Manchester United have been monitoring his progress for a while now. The Eagles have made it a habit of signing young players with huge potential, and they have found another one of Dario Osorio.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are looking to improve their youth recruitment drive, and they feel the young winger who is expected to be the ‘Chilean Di Maria’ can be a valuable addition to their squad in the long run. While Manchester United and Crystal Palace are keen on his signature, Tottenham are all set to rival both Premier League clubs for the attacking sensation.
Tottenham keen on signing Osorio
The North London club have been scouting the young winger for a while now, and their representatives are believed to be quite impressed with what they have seen from Dario Osorio. While there is a significant amount of interest in his services, Spurs are willing to battle rival clubs.
Tottenham are well covered on either flank. They have some experienced campaigned as well as a few young stars who have immense potential. Osorio will have significant competition at Spurs, and getting minutes in the first-team could prove to be a massive challenge for him.
But since he is only 20, the Chilean sensation has a lot of time to establish himself and become an important part of their first team setup under Ange Postecoglou. It is not a surprise to see Tottenham push for his services as they have focused on signing young players under the Australian manager and technical director Johan Lange.
