Signing a new striker was a top priority for the North London club during the summer. They made a lot of efforts to add a new world-class number nine. But things didn’t go according to plan. While they failed to sign an out-and-out goal scorer in the summer, their search continues and they have been scouting top strikers ahead of a potential transfer.
According to a report from TBR, Arsenal scouts travelled to Germany on Wednesday to watch RB Leipzig take on Italian giants Juventus. They were in attendance to watch a few of their top targets and the Old Lady’s Dusan Vlahovic was one of them.
Vlahovic joined the Italian giants at the start of 2022. While he initially struggled to get going, the 24-year-old eventually managed to establish himself as one of their mainstays. The Serbian international has made quite a name for himself with his consistent performances and he now finds himself on the wishlist of multiple top clubs.
The former Fiorentina striker has had an exceptional start to the new season. He has six goals and an assist in his eight outings. With his contract at Juventus running out in 2026, his future is becoming a big talking point and there is interest in his services from Arsenal.

The Gunners do have quite a few options up top but they do not have a proven goal scorer in their ranks. They wanted to sign one in the summer but couldn’t make it happen. Their search continues and they have scouting top targets ahead of a potential move.
Vlahovic who is known for his physical abilities is quite high on their wishlist and their scouts recently watched the 24-year-old score a brace against RB Leipzig in the Champions League. They were in the stands to watch the Old Lady secure a 3-2 win with the Serbian being the star of the night.
The Juventus striker would have surely impressed the North London club’s scout. He can surely help them take the next step and it will be interesting to see if they table an offer in the winter or next summer window.
