PSG keen on William Saliba

According to a report from Fichajes, PSG are looking to reinforce their backline and they are interested in the services of William Saliba. The French giants are preparing an ambitious €100 million offer to test Arsenal’s resolve.

The Gunners forked out just €30 million to sign Saliba back in the summer of 2019 following his sensational rise at Saint-Étienne. He was an investment for the long run and the North London club haven’t had to wait long to reap the rewards.

The 23-year-old managed to break into their first team in 2022 following a few impressive loan spells in France. He hardly took any time to settle into Mikel Arteta’s plans and has been a go-to man for the Spanish manager at the back.

The French centre-back’s consistent performances have put him on the radar of quite a few top clubs and PSG are one of them. The Ligue 1 champions want to reinforce their backline. They want to bring in young faces to revamp the backline and prepare for the long run.

PSG to offer €100 million for Saliba

They feel Saliba is an ideal fit for their system and are preparing a €100 million offer to prise him away from North London. PSG are always looking to bring the best French players to their club and Saliba is surely turning out to be one.

They feel he could help them push for their first Champions League title. While he is seen as a top target for the French outfit, they are unlikely to find to easy to sign him. His contract at Arsenal runs until the summer of 2027 and they have no intentions of parting ways with the 23-year-old who is considered a key part of their plans.

Arteta wants to taste success at the domestic as well as European front and Saliba is going to be a key factor for them. But, the massive €100 million offer from PSG will surely make them think twice.
