Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig battle Manchester United for Adam Daghim

Manchester United are tracking Adam Daghim ahead of future windows, with the 18-year-old attacking prodigy attracting plenty of attention.

According to Tipsbladet, Danish teenager Adam Daghim continues to attract massive interest from top clubs, with Manchester United the latest to come into the equation. The Red Devils are already monitoring the progress of the 18-year-old attacking prodigy,

Manchester United are interested in Adam Daghim

If RB Salzburg is in this season’s Champions League, Adam Daghim is a big reason why, as the teenage attacker’s goal against Dynamo Kyiv proved decisive in their playoff game. The teenager is steadily rising to prominence, and under new manager Pep Ljinders, he will be expected to take his game to the next level.

Daghim is an 18-year-old attacking prodigy who has had a productive start to the season with RB Salzburg. While he remains a young gem, the striker continues to show signs that he can become a star of the future. Hence, it’s no surprise that some of the big clubs are keeping close tabs on his situation.

Manchester United are tracking the teenager, and could approach in January or next summer. Salzburg are protected by a long-term contract with the 18-year-old attacking prodigy, who is tied until 2028, meaning signing him certainly won’t be cheap.

For now, the Red Devils are keeping close tabs and could continue to monitor his performances this season under Ljinders. However, there’s interest from RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, with the Bundesliga duo indeed threatening Manchester United’s prospects of signing the teenager in the future.

Manchester United could be a good option

Daghim is only beginning to play games regularly at the senior level, and in Austria, he could achieve his targets in this developmental phase. Ljinders has proved his worth for many yers working as an assistant under Jurgen Klopp, and under a progressive manager, it would be in the player’s interest to stay at Salzburg.

However, the prospect of joining Manchester United might tempt Daghim as it would any other player. However, should he come here, there are chances it will take a long time for him to make a breakthrough, although that might be different at other clubs like Leipzig or Dortmund, who prefer to nurture youth talents.
