Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United keen on Karim Adeyemi

Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are interested in a move for Karim Adeyemi, as Borussia Dortmund could sell big.

According to Fichajes, Karim Adeyemi has continued to attract big Premier League interest, particularly after a bright start to the new campaign. Borussia Dortmund could eventually cave in if a considerable offer arrives, as with time, the player and the club’s ambitions could seem the opposite.

Karim Adeyemi could leave Borussia Dortmund

It’s often the case with Borussia Dortmund that they end up losing their best players when they are just about ripe. That might be the case with Karim Adeyemi, who was linked with an exit last summer but ended up staying at the club after yet another impressive but less effective campaign in the background.

He has visibly made amends to his game and started the new campaign on fire. The 22-year-old Bundesliga attacker’s two goals and an assist from three Bundesliga games have already seen him one goal behind his league tally from last season, and should he continue on this trajectory, Adeyemi could be staring at his best season ever.

Irrespective of whether that happens, the attacker already had interest, and there are at least three big Premier League teams chasing his signature. Aston Villa held talks in the summer but failed to take it any forward. Now it appears that Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are all chasing him ahead of future windows. However, Dortmund might only consider a summer sale next time out.

In fact, Dortmund are known in the market to get the best value for their top stars, particularly when Premier League sides come knocking. Should Adeyemi continue on his current trajectory, soon enough, the player and the club’s ambitions could be polar objectives, and he will angle for a move away, and with a good enough season, he will not have any shortages of offers.

Liverpool, Man Utd and Newcastle in Adeyemi chase

Newcastle United are prioritising a right-sided attacker in future windows, as they are planning on replacing Miguel Almiron. Liverpool, on the other hand, held an interest in Adeyemi in anticipation of a big offer coming in for Mohamed Salah, which never did. In any case, the Egyptian’s long term future remains in significant doubt, and they could eye Adeyemi as a replacement option in the future.

As for Manchester United, they still seek some key additions to their attacking third. In the summer they considered selling Antony if they could find a suitable replacement, which never materialised. The Brazilian seems way down in the pecking order this season, and soon enough, he could leave if the situation remains the same. In his place, Adeyemi might make sense, although Dortmund will demand a considerable fee.
