Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly look to sign 24-year-old versatile Swiss forward Noah Okafor from Serie A club AC Milan in the January transfer window.
According to a report by Italian outlet Milan Live, Noah Okafor is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The North London giants are considering signing the versatile AC Milan attacker in the January transfer window. Meanwhile, the Serie A giants want around €20 million to part ways with the Swiss international.
Noah Okafor and his career so far
Noah Okafor has struggled to stamp his authority since joining AC Milan from Red Bull Salzburg in July 2023. A native of Binningen, he spent his formative years in Switzerland and graduated from the youth division at FC Basel. However, he rose in prominence during his spell with Red Bull Salzburg, spending three years with the Austrian outfit.
The 24-year-old has blown hot and cold during his spell with AC Milan while losing his spot as a regular with every passing month. However, Okafor has started the 2024/25 season on a high, scoring once in three Serie A outings thus far in 164 minutes of game time.
However, the Rossoneri will be open to sanctioning Noah Okafor’s sale in the January transfer window, setting a price tag of €20 million on him. Meanwhile, the situation has not gone unnoticed, with Tottenham Hotspur among the prospective winter suitors for the versatile Swiss attacker.
London calling?
Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Noah Okafor is understandable. The North London giants are keen on bolstering their attack in the January transfer window by signing a versatile attacker. With Richarlison’s long-term future uncertain, Tottenham can do with a play like the AC Milan attacker.
Considering Okafor can play across the frontline, he can quickly become an asset for Tottenham in the second half of the 2024/25 season. The 24-year-old will not cost a bomb either, considering AC Milan’s asking price of €20 million.
Tottenham should have the funds to afford a deal worth €20 million to secure Noah Okafor’s services in the January transfer window. The North London giants were the most active Premier League club in the 2024 winter window, and that might be the case again in 2025. They have also shown interest in several other players, including Patrick Dorgu and Angel Gomes.
