Aston Villa, West Ham United keeping tabs on Ernest Muci

Aston Villa and West Ham United are closely monitoring Albanian attacking sensation Ernest Muci ahead of a potential move in January.

According to a report from Aksam, Ernest Muci could soon realise his dream of playing in the Premier League. The Besiktas attacking midfielder’s future has been uncertain of late and he now finds himself on the wishlist of Aston Villa and West Ham United.

Both Premier League outfits are monitoring the 23-year-old Albanian international and they could knock on Turkish giants Besiktas’ door when the transfer window reopens in January.

Ernest Muci’s time at Besiktas

Muci made to the to Turkiye at the start of the year from Legia Warsaw in a deal worth €10 million. The young attacking midfielder has featured in 21 matches for Besiktas and has bagged five goals so far. He hasn’t been able to establish himself in their first team.

While Muci still has close to three years left on his deal, his future has become a big talking point. The Albanian sensation who can feature on the flanks as well as a number 10 could be on the move in the near future.

He has talked about his desire of playing in the Premier League one day and clubs from England are keeping a close eye on his situation at the Turkish club.

Premier League outfits monitoring Ernest Muci

West Ham United and Aston Villa have emerged as potential destinations for the 23-year-old. Both clubs have started monitoring his situation and could pounce on an opportunity in the winter. They were both linked with the Albanian star during the recently concluded transfer window.

The Hammers seek more depth in the final third of the pitch while Unai Emery is someone who loves working with versatile players and Muci would be a great fit in his system.

Both clubs are now all set to follow his performances in the Super Lig and Europe over the next months as they plan to make an offer to the black and whites when the transfer window reopens in January. They are looking to submit an offer worth around €15 million during the winter break which could be enough to convince Besiktas.
