According to Caught Offside, Kingsley Coman could continue to attract top suitors, with Manchester United and Liverpool still linked with the winger. The French winger failed to leave Bayern Munich in the summer following reports of an imminent exit, as a January move could be on the cards.
Kingsley Coman in Premier League links
Kingsley Coman could have made a move away from Bayern Munich in the summer when he became disposable. The arrival of Vincent Kompany may have made him a bit redundant to the new system, with the former Burnley boss considering selling him.
Given the winger’s rough injury record in recent years, there were doubts about whether Bayern could get the desired transfer fee. Hence, the Bavarians were seemingly open to sending him out on loan, as Coman was offered to several clubs, many of them in the Premier League.
Liverpool were interested in a move, but they did bring Federico Chiesa, while Coman also had a big offer from Saudi Arabia, which he refused. The report states that the Merseysiders could keep their channels open for the future, but given their current attacking setup, the 28-year-old serial winner may not have a place right now.
Manchester United were also linked, and had they made a move, it would have been obvious. However, the loss of Jadon Sancho to Chelsea on deadline day and the loss of form in Antony’s game does leave them a bit short in the wide areas, meaning a January move for Coman is still a possibility.

Given he was available on loan in the summer, Barcelona were keen on a move, as they could not sign Nico Williams and were short of a winger. However, the Catalans could still explore a loan move for the 28-year-old serial winner in January. However, much will depend on their financial situation later in the year.

Hence, there are some closed doors for Coman in the Premier League, but a few could open around January for the French winger to make a move to England.
