Galatasaray in talks with Manchester United over Casemiro loan

Turkish outfit Galatasaray are reportedly keen on signing the crisis-stricken Manchester United midfielder Casemiro this summer.

According to Turkish journalist Ali Naci Kucuk, Manchester United and Galatasaray are currently in talks over a loan move for crisis-stricken Brazilian midfielder Casemiro after his struggles against Liverpool.

Casemiro is struggling this season, and a move away from Manchester United could be ideal for him. The midfielder is clearly in his twilight years, and he is unlikely to improve in the coming seasons. Manchester United would do well to sanction his departure.

They have brought in Manuel Ugarte this summer, and the Uruguayan international is expected to be the first-choice defensive midfielder at the club. The departure of the Brazilian will help free up the wage bill as well.

Galatasaray move would be ideal for Casemiro

A move to Turkiye could be ideal for the former Real Madrid star at this stage of his career. The lower intensity of Turkish football could suit him well. The Brazilian will look to get his career back on track, and he will hope to regain his form and confidence. A fresh start away from the limelight would be ideal.

Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the players are often under tremendous pressure to perform at a high level consistently. Casemiro could do with some respite right now. There is no doubt that he is a world-class player, and he has shown that at Real Madrid by helping them win every trophy at club level multiple times.

The transfer window remains open in Turkiye for now, and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can iron out an agreement before the window closes. Meanwhile, Casemiro is on massive wages at Manchester United, and it will be interesting to see if the player decides to take a pay cut in order to get the deal done.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have had a disappointing start to the season so far. The Red Devils were beaten by Liverpool at the weekend, and they will be under pressure to bounce back strongly. Manchester United are expected to challenge for the league title this season, but their recent performances suggest that they are not at that level yet. It will be interesting to see if they can produce a strong reaction after the international break.
