Galatasaray considering loan move for Casemiro, exit possible

Galatasaray are strongly considering a loan move for crisis-struck Manchester United star Casemiro before the Turkish window shuts.

According to TBR, Galatasaray are pondering a late move to bring Casemiro on loan before the Turkish window shuts. The crisis-struck Manchester United star could think about a temporary switch to ease away from the growing pressures of playing for a flailing Red Devils side that does threaten to tarnish his legacy.

Galatasaray consider Casemiro loan

Over the last year or so, the criticisms directed at Casemiro have made everyone forget what a terrific career the Brazilian has had. Numerous trophies, including five Champions League crowns, and is considered one of the greats of the game. His big reputation while playing for Real Madrid earned him a big career move to Manchester United, and things have gone downhill since, as the awful display against Liverpool did not do him any favours.

Manchester United had internally hoped to cash in, considering considerable Saudi interest reported in the media early in the summer. There were rumblings late in the transfer window about Saudi clubs still pursuing the midfielder, but nothing came to fruition despite widespread reports.

Now, Galatasaray are ready to explore a loan move for Casemiro and allow the crisis-struck Manchester United star to escape the pressures he’s under. Whether they are able to convince the Brazilian is the big question, considering his salary and the fact that Erik ten Hag may still consider him essential for his plans.

Galatasaray made headlines by managing to agree on a loan deal for Napoli star Victor Osimhen. Chelsea were trying their best but could not tie up a move for the Nigerian. Now, the Turkish giants are keen on Casemiro and should they pull it off, it would be a massive coup for their domestic and European season.

Galatasaray may find it challenging to sign Casemiro

The arrival of Manuel Ugarte will be seen as a boost by Manchester United fans, and they can easily portray the Uruguayan replacing Casemiro after the international break. Thus, some may assume the Brazilian would be thinking about moving when he has a chance, although his huge salary may prove troublesome for Galatasaray.

They are already invested in paying Osimhen his full salary for the upcoming season, and whether they can include Casemiro in that mix remains the doubt. Hence, on financial terms, it’s tough to see Galatasaray sign both those prominent stars, although there’s the odd chance they can make this happen.
