Juventus will demand €30 million to sell Juan Cabal

Manchester United have learnt the asking price for Juan Cabal, with Juventus demanding at least €30 million to sell the Colombian left-back.

According to Tutto Juve, Juventus will demand at least €30 million to sell newly acquired left-back Juan Cabal, with Manchester United interested. The idea of the Colombian leaving so soon after his arrival in Turin may seem unlikely. However, the Serie A club could consider offers depending on the demand for the full-back.

Juventus set Juan Cabal’s asking price

Juan Cabal has come into the big picture following his €12 million move to Juventus from Hellas Verona in the summer. He is part of a new system in Turin under Thiago Motta, who had seemingly identified the Colombian as a critical addition to his squad over in the summer.

Cabal has only had one entire breakthrough season in Serie A, although he was a bit-part player for Verona in the campaign before last. The 23-year-old full-back has already begun showing his talent on the bigger stage, having started all three of Juventus’s games this season, including one against his former side.

With the player showing signs of becoming a key player under Motta, Juventus will be expected to see the Colombian feature in their long-term plans. However, they have also set an asking price, following early demand in the market for the 23-year-old Serie A full-back.

Manchester United are interested in Cabal and have made scouting trips to watch the player closely. Juventus would reporteldy demand at least €30 million to sell the Colombian full-back if the demand soars either in January or next summer. Such a sale will result in a quick profit for the Bianconeri, although Motta might see the bigger picture and view him as a big part of his long-term plans.

Manchester United seeking a new left-back

Following the closure of the summer transfer window, Manchester United managed to add two centre-backs and a right-back in Noussair Mazraoui. The Moroccan can play on the left flank, and so can Diogo Dalot, with the latter being predominantly used in the first three games of the Premier League season.

They were also keen on Tyrick Mitchell and a few other left-backs, depending on what profile they are seeking. However, the option of Cabal could also be explored more deeply, and should they be willing to pay the €30 million fee or more, the Colombian could be a good enough candidate based on his performances over the last season and the current one.
