The Gunners are keen on reinforcing their goalkeeping department before the summer transfer window shuts down. Who is Sam Tickle?
Sam Tickle has established himself as one of the best young prospects in England since breaking into the first-team squad at Wigan Athletic. A native of Warrington, the Englishman spent most of his formative years with Wigan Athletic after joining the Latics as a ten-year-old in 2012.
The 22-year-old progressed through the ranks at Wigan Athletic and needed two loan spells before becoming a regular for the first team. Tickle has not looked back since he established a foothold in the senior squad at the Brick Community Stadium. The youngster has turned out over 150 times thus far for Wigan while keeping 20 clean sheets.
Meanwhile, Sam Tickle’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs, particularly from the Premier League.
